HOURS
Vet Pets opens at 7:00 AM Monday through Saturday for early drop-off service for grooming, boarding, treatment and surgery. We are open until 6:30 PM Monday through Friday and 4:00 PM Saturday for late pick-ups. We are closed on Sunday.

APPOINTMENTS
Our doctors work by appointment, but we do accept walk-ins. Emergencies are seen immediately. If your pet is not experiencing an emergency, we recommend that you make an appointment so that your pet can be seen more promptly.
SURGERY
If your pet is being admitted for surgery, please make sure that you take away its food and water after 10:00 pm the night before surgery, and do not allow it to eat or drink anything before you bring it in. We ask that our surgical patients be admitted prior to 10:00 AM. We keep most of our surgery patients overnight to decrease the risk of surgical complications.
GROOMING
Grooming appointments should be admitted prior to 9:30 AM as well. We ask that owners call at or after 4:30 PM to see when their pets will be ready to go home from grooming.
REQUIRED VACCINES
All animals admitted to the facility must be current on all vaccinations, including Giardia, and must have proof of a negative fecal parasite screen within the past twelve months. If your pet is not current on these procedures, they can be performed while it is here.
Vaccinations required for dogs to stay in the hospital for grooming, boarding, or surgery are Rabies, DHP, Parvovirus, Coronavirus, Bordatella (Kennel Cough), Giardia, and a negative fecal parasite test within the past 12 months.
Vaccinations required for for cats, we require Rabies, FVRCP, Feline leukemia, FIP, Giardia and a fecal.
Vaccinations required for ferrets we require rabies, distemper and a fecal, and birds have to have a polyomavirus vaccine AND A fecal parasite exam.
All other animals are required to have a fecal.
