Sugar Glider Care Tips:

Babies:

To reduce stress, keep babies warm. Feed soft fruit like grapes, strawberries, cantaloupe, apples everyday for 4 weeks. Also, 1 tsp. High protein cat food every night. After 4 weeks, you can cut fruit to 3 to 5 times a week.

Five tips to good health:

  1. A high protein cat food mixed 50/50 with a high protein kitten food.
  2. Fruit 4 to 5 times a week (What is in season)
  3. A good water soluble calcium vitamin, such as Necton S mixed lighly in a hampster water bottle.
  4. A good reptile calcium powder, such as T-Rex carnivorous Reptile Formula or Reptocal sprinkled on their fruit or at 2 tsp per lb. of catfood.
  5. Lots of TENDER LOVING CARE! Sugar Gliders are a high maintenance animal, which need lots of ATTENTION, just as a dog, cat, or even a toddler would.
